TWEEN YOGA
Tween Sessions encourage wellbeing, breath, strength, flexibility and meditation. Learning to “Take care of you” both mentally and physically.
Lockdown Patience
This is surely a surreal time we a living through. I am still here…patient…waiting. Trying to maintain a sense of wellbeing. I’ve here offering classes privately and to groups online. My sessions offer a holistic approach Yoga, mental release, discussion, breath and self care. Offerings to all ages and all levels. Keep connecting with those around you. Virtually or even just a passing hello to a stranger. Talk, breath and understand that this is a rollercoaster. Some parts aren’t fun but others can be surprisingly heart warming x

“Esther is such a warm, caring and inclusive Yoga teacher. I was thrilled to have Esther provide several sessions of Yoga for staff. It was a real boost to our health and wellbeing. Everyone looked forward to the sessions. Thanks Esther!”
Warren Lloyd | Principal
“Esther provided Nillumbik Youth with weekly online guided yoga sessions during the difficult period of COIVD-19. Giving local young people the opportunity to connect and try out yoga. Her classes were well thought out and structured and she was able to easily adapt them to be beginner and child friendly. Esther creates a warm, welcoming and supportive environment for everyone and it was a pleasure to partner with her on this project.”
Nicola Clutton , Youth Development Officer, Nillumbik shire Council
Esther is a dedicated, kind and compassionate person. Very confident with her brand of yoga. I know that she will do well.
Yong, Grasshopper Yoga Studio, Eltham
Esther taught two groups of a select number of year 9 students during lockdown#2 for a six week period followed by a second group face to face. In each scenario, remote and face to face, she built an excellent rapport with our students and created tailor made courses for each mode of learning as well as adapting lessons to meet individual needs. Esther provided a safe learning environment in which students felt at ease and able to engage with their sense of wellbeing in a time of adversity and uncertainty. I highly recommend her!

Yoga Release....
I hear many people say ‘I cant do yoga, I’m not flexible?’ My classes are for everyone…my current Vinyasa class holds people aged 20 -70 years of age All with different reasons why they do yoga. Some with physical ailments. Some with Mental barriers. Yoga is not just the asana’s (poses) it’s not just being able to touch your toes….Its about giving yourself permission to STOP. To mentally unwind, move into muscles and joints, discover your breath, your strengths, nurture your body & opening your heart.
Oils of Love
https://www.mydoterra.com/myserenity1/#/
At the end of each class this has become my practice. To use a little oil ( depending on the mood I choose an oil to suit) offering each person /child a mini head and neck release. I feel this complements my practice….allowing me to connect with each person, as a sign of gratitude. x

Vinyasa
Vinyasa classes cater for all levels of experience. Plenty of modifications and alternatives to meet what your body needs, whether it be a quieter more restorative version or perhaps a challenge. Yoga isn’t only the challenge of the physical practice through asanas and flow….it is the notion that we can train the brain to build strength…to quieten the constant chitta and calm the mind. It is learning to breathe…to move…to love and feel content with ourselves.
Tips for Vinyasa
01 : Open your heart & mind.
02 : Relax & breathe.
03 : Enjoy the flow.
04 : Thank yourself.
Why Yoga...
Why yoga
Yes yoga is about the poses and building strength and flexibility. But, in both my Kids and Adult classes I have a big focus around the connection with breath and mind. My knowledge and experience in mental health plays a big part when delivering a class. Focusing on yoga as a whole…calming the mind and embracing a positive beautiful you!
Anxiety & Stress
I see Anxiety in Kids from age 6 and up and in Adults. Everyone comes to yoga needing something!! I acknowledge that this one and a bit hours is all about you! A chance to re-set and create some space.
